I am extremely privileged to be the Principal at St. Kevin’s and love working alongside our families and staff to support all our amazing children.

My passions outside of school are family (father of three!), motorcycling and supporting the mighty Magpies!

Hello everyone, my name is Andrew Butler and I’m one of the Deputy Principals here at St Kevins; such a vibrant and family orientated school! The students and staff are the heart of our school and we greatly value our relationships and connections. My passions include life in the great outdoors, gardening, mountain bike riding, reading and generally staying fit. I love holidays with my family and having some fun every day!

Developing independence, responsibility and confidence in my senior students whilst being part of a truly welcoming community is what I love about working at St Kevin’s. Outside of school, I love travelling with my family and staying fit.

I am the first person to greet you with a smiling face at St Kevin’s. My role encompasses many hats. I love interacting with our families and students, from Enrolments, fees, newsletters, sick bay and many more.  Out of school I love spending time with my children, husband and friends.  

Hello and Welcome! My name is Michelle, but please call me Chelle (just like all the kids do.)  I love every second of working at St Kevin’s.  I get to meet, help, assist so many parents, children and of course  staff friends.  I proudly call this place my second home.

I am so privileged to be part of our wonderful St Kevin’s family. As the Religious Education Leader, I am excited to share my skills and talents to enrich our school community with the Gospel values.

In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with my family.

I love that literacy opens a new world for students. It allows them to dream, question, challenge and explore. I get to share my love of literacy and books with them. Shared experiences build relationships. How lucky am I that I get to do that everyday?

I am the School Maths Leader and I am passionate about the teaching of Mathematics. I support the teachers to plan and deliver Maths activities that engage all our students.

When I am not at school, I enjoy time with family, walking my dog along the beach, bike riding and catching up with friends.

I love being part of a dynamic, vibrant, caring and energetic staff. We all share our talents and expert skills to help each student be the best learner they can be. St.Kevin’s is truly a family.
Something I love doing is spending time outdoors with my son.

The community of St Kevin’s Primary school is my extended family. The staff are caring of each other, celebrating achievements and consoling in times of trouble. Each and every student is nurtured to be the best learner they can be. It has been an honour to see the students develop over their seven years with us and to be blessed with return visits when they leave.

As Student Wellbeing Leader, I love working with the students. Every day is different and I enjoy the interactions I have with students across the school. In my Learning Diversity role I support teachers to develop differentiated learning programs.
Outside school I love to exercise and try incorporating mindfulness daily.

I feel very blessed to be part of the Prep team at St Kevins! It is a tremendously supportive and inclusive environment, full of fun and laughter! I am extremely passionate about human connection and the wellbeing of our students, their families and my colleagues. Outside of school, you will find me at the G’ supporting the mighty Pies, spending time with my family and friends or at the movies eating popcorn and Maltesers!

St.Kevin’s is my family. I am fortunate to work in a dynamic team who are passionately invested in the development of the whole child.
When I am not at school, I love to sing. As a Choir Leader, I am grateful to share my love for music with our students.

Working at St. Kevin’s feels like being part of a family.

I love teaching the Preps and Juniors Indonesian. They are such sponges, always eager to learn new words, phrases and songs.

Outside of school, I love going on adventures with my family, visiting waterfalls and going on walks.

I love that our school is so enthusiastic about our students and their learning. I love that our students get to experience the joy and love in all aspects of our faith community.  Lastly I love all of our wonderful and amazing staff, we are one big family.

What I love most about being a part of St Kevin’s is having the opportunity to make a positive impact on our young learners and helping them to flourish in all facets of school life. Outside school, I am passionate about fitness, enjoy nature and spending time with my family.

‘Time flies when you’re having fun!’ In over 20 years at St Kevin’s, I have taught every year level. St Kevin’s is not just my place of work but my extended family. When I’m not working, I’m pretty busy raising my five children with my husband, Richard.

Hello everyone, I’m Sarah and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work at a school like St Kevin’s where I feel most welcomed by all. My connection and passion for education is very strong and I look forward to teaching and learning in such a rewarding environment with all staff, students, and families involved. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my friends and family. I also enjoy reading, music, travelling, and attending AFL games.

I began teaching at St. Kevin’s in 2002. Since then I have held many positions such as Junior Classroom teacher, Junior Library teacher, Visual Arts teacher and now Middle school teacher. I am passionate about teaching and helping students to achieve their goals.

I am blessed to be a part of such a warm and welcoming family at St Kevins. What I love the most is the constant support from staff and uniqueness of students who bring joy and enthusiasm to the classroom. Outside of school I love to cook, go to church, spend time with my family and friends and explore the world around us.

I absolutely love the atmosphere at St Kevin’s. We work hard but have fun along the way. We do this with pride. We are one big family. I am proud to be apart of a motivating and fun-loving crew. Outside of school I love to have a laugh with friends.

I am very grateful to begin my teaching career here at St. Kevin’s. The staff are incredibly supportive, and the school environment provides all students the confidence and opportunity to grow and thrive. I value the importance of being positive and having a growth mindset to flourish in the classroom.

In my spare time I like to attend sporting matches, and go out for dinner with friends.

I am new to St Kevin’s this year and I have been made to feel very welcome by all staff, students and their families. After almost a decade in teaching it is wonderful to be part of such a warm and vibrant school community. I am a mother to three young children and my oldest is just beginning his own school journey starting in Prep this year. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading spending time with my family.

The 5/6 Learning Community is collaborative. Both the children and the teachers learn to work collaboratively. I am blessed to be part of the special Sacramental journey students partake as well as preparing Masses in partnership with our Priests. Outside of school I love to dance & garden.

I am thrilled to be a part of the St. Kevin’s community and work with a friendly group of staff, students, and families. As a teacher, I enjoy challenging my students and supporting them to move out of their comfort zone, but also having fun and laughs. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. 

I am new this year and am delighted to be a member of the amazing staff of St Kevin’s. Everyone has made me feel so welcome and have been very kind and supportive. For many years it has been my passion to be the best teacher I can be so I can help my students achieve their goals in life. Outside of school, I love to snow-ski, go to the gym and the beach with my husband and two children. I also love to read, watch movies and solve the Wordle puzzle each day.

I love working at St. Kevin’s because every single person is extremely supportive. Outside of school you will find me exercising, running marathons or completing obstacle courses. My family runs the Muddy Hell obstacle course for kids most school holidays.

I have been part of the St Kevin’s team for many years both in the classroom and lately doing PE with the junior grades. I enjoy teaching the children new games and love to see how their skills develop over their school years.

It is such an honour to be able to fulfil my dream of being a language teacher at St Kevin’s, where I’ve been made to feel at home by both staff and students alike from the very start. I constantly strive to make learning Indonesian as fun, engaging and practical as possible. Outside of school, I spend my time mastering other languages like Japanese, Korean and Russian.

Being the Performing Arts specialist is very exciting. I get to teach my three loves: dance, drama and music. I started dancing and learning the piano at the age of six. I have been involved in several amateur musicals and many dance concerts.  Nowadays I attend Zumba classes.

Teaching children how to be mindfully creative is my passion. I love sharing ideas and giving my children the opportunity to create their masterpieces while building confidence in themselves and their creativity! Outside of school I host mindful art classes for adults and children.

A vibrant, hard working community demonstrating dedication and commitment for all students, understanding that each student is diverse. This is considered in teams when planning, to maximise learning for each individual, while staff  support one another.
Away from school, I enjoy catching up with family and friends over a cuppa.

My passion is in STEM Education. I have been teaching in this field for over 4 years. Previously I have worn several hats. As a classroom teacher, a PE teacher and as a Performing/Visual Arts teacher.  I enjoy sharing engineering concepts with students and watching them as they problem solve solutions. My hope is that, through STEM,  students will develop the critical thinking skills that can be applied to any learning area.

It’s a privilege working in the library. I love reading books and my highlight is to see that same appreciation and excitement showed from the students when they come to borrow a book of their choice. Apart from reading books I love everything knitting and crafts.

I love working with all the children in the classroom environment and helping with their outdoor activities as well.
I love to read, garden, crochet, sew, go for walks and play tennis.

I love working at St.Kevin’s as it reflects the practice of  our Faith. The caring and nurturing  of each individual child’s learning  is evident everyday.
I am blessed to be part of St Kevin’s Community. The strong leadership and teamwork amongst staff makes it a place to be in.

As a learning support officer I love everything I do at our school especially the little groups that we do in literacy, mathematics, social skills etc. it’s such a blessing to work with them everyday. I love to cook and I enjoy making homemade traditional food and snacks.

I love working with children and find it rewarding knowing that I can make a difference in their lives.

I work with inspirational leaders and educators who share a common vision being the social, emotional and academic growth of all students in our care.

My name is Cressy and I have been providing support to our Prep Level since 2011.  I enjoy being part of a warm, friendly and exciting school community. It’s always buzzing with activity! 

In my free time, I love travelling with my family, gardening and going for walks.

Working at St Kevin’s is like being part of a large and extended family.  The staff are wonderful to work with and very dedicated.  The children we work with are delightful and we all turn up each day because of them.  My interests are family, art, books,gardening, decorating & walking.

I love the way students and teachers alike greet each other with a beautiful smile and a warm heart. I am grateful for the opportunity to support teachers in enabling a student to become a whole person.

I love gardening – especially growing vegetables – aubergines, pumpkins, herbs and chillies.

My name is Sarina and I am privileged to work at St Kevin’s alongside dedicated and passionate staff. As a former student, St Kevin’s holds a strong place in my heart and I am very proud to be part of the team. Watching the students grow both academically and emotionally is a great blessing and I am very excited to continue my journey at a school like St Kevin’s. I am able to thrive as an LSO growing in my passion for working with children in a warm and welcoming environment.

Outside of my role at St Kevin’s I enjoy spending time with family and friends and creating!

As a Learning Support Officer  helping children gain confidence in their learning whilst  supporting and encouraging them along the way to achieving their goals brings me great joy. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family and cooking with my four children.
